WASHINGTON - Researchers from the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) using the model shows that the effects of asteroid impacts could cause a fire storm that occurred on Earth. Firestorm that cause massive forest fires occurred tens of millions of years ago.
