Astronaut record, Earth-Space Only 6 Hours

MOSCOW - The crew of the Russian and American astronauts have arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday after a fast-track journey from Earth. Just need to take six hours to the ISS, astronauts have to break new records.

Reported Watoday, Monday (01/04/2013), the fastest time of the trip involved a NASA astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts to ride the Soyuz TMA spacecraft. Russian television had broadcast the launch of the rocket.

Asrtonot among others Pavel Vinogradov and Alexander Misurkin from Russia and one astronaut from the U.S. space agency, Chris Cassidy. They will be served in ISS for five months.

The three astronauts record their journey from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Russia to dock to the ISS. Generally, astronauts spend up to 45 hours to the ISS from Earth, but all three managed to reach the ISS astronauts with less than six hours.

Reportedly, the fastest way requires the rocket to be just below the ISS. The space shuttle or Soyuz capsule carrying three astronauts to travel as far as 1600 kilometers to the ISS.

Ahead of the launch, the crew expressed satisfaction with the new fast-track schedule, including Vinogradov which is the most experienced cosmonauts. With this the fastest time, the biological material for experiments carried on board ISS will not quickly broken. (FMH)
